Dane Wilson  is one of the country’s most promising para-cyclists. He has been a Jumping Kids ambassador since 2009 and represented South Africa at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games in track cycling.

Being an upper limb amputee due to a congenital condition, Dane has played an integral role as Jumping Kids charity ambassador with the aim to prove that anything is possible if you have a can-do attitude, the right equipment, and holistic support.

In 2025, Dane signed up to take on the Absa Cape Epic mountain bike stage race with team-mate, Reuben van Niekerk as part of Ossur South Africa’s What’s Your Epic campaign.
