Brandon Menezes is living with a bilateral above knee amputation and is a student at Hoerskool Dr. E.G. Jansen – (a mainstream school) – in Boksburg. He was born with a rare disorder of tendon and bone development known as Diastrophic Dysplasia. The condition, which is linked to dwarfism, causes joint deformities called contractures that restrict movement.
