At the end of March, twelve Jumping Kids Prosthetic Fund (Jumping Kids) beneficiaries travelled to the Eastern Cape to participate in track and field athletics at the Toyota SASAPD National Championships that took place in Gqeberha from 28 March to 1 April 2025.
Young athletes living with physical disabilities hailing from three provinces, who are all beneficiaries of the Jumping Kids charity, produced 26 medals; 19 gold, 4 silver, and 3 bronze; as well as numerous (unofficial) South African records in their respective competitive divisions.
Results are as follows:
- Thlompo Twala (Northwest Province) – 100m, 200m and long jump gold in the Boys under-14 T61 division
- Junior Mukansi (Limpopo Province) – 100m and 200m gold in the Boys under-14 T63 division
- Ndieni Netshavhambe (Limpopo Province) – 100m, seated javelin and 200m gold in the Boys under-14 T/F46 division
- Miracle Malatji (Limpopo Province) – 100m and 200m silver in the Boys under-14 T61 division
- Donique Van Den Berg (Gauteng Province) – 100m, shot put, long jump and 200m gold in the Girls under-17 T/F64 division with new unofficial SA records in the 200m and shot put
- Jayden Van Heerden (Gauteng Province – 100m and 200m gold with new unofficial SA records in both items in the Boys under-17 T64 division
- Masala Makatu (Limpopo Province) – 100m and 400m gold in the Men under-20 T12 division
- Kitso Mokolometsa (Gauteng Province) – 100m and 200m bronze, and silver in the long jump in the Men under-20 T61 division
- Teagon Coimbra (Gauteng Province) – 4th place in the 100m, bronze in the shot put, silver in javelin, and gold in the discus throw with new unofficial SA records in all three field events in the Men under-20 T/F63 division
- Simphiwe Dlamini (Gauteng Province) – bronze in the seated javelin with 4th place in the seated discus throw and shot-put Men under-20 F57 division
- Vhutuhawe Nemutandani (Limpopo Province) – gold in the discus throw and javelin Boys under-17 F61 division with new unofficial SA records in both items
- Matume Malatsi (Gauteng Province) 4th place in the seated javelin, 5th place in the shot put, and 6th place in the discus throw Men Open F57 division
